Social Media Login - Douyin

Instructions: Connecting Douyin Channels to Blinkfire Analytics

What you need:

• Computer to log into a Blinkfire account.
• Phone with the Douyin app on it. You must be logged into the Douyin account that you are providing credentials in order to retrieve user information and posts.

Steps to log in:

1. Go to https://www.blinkfire.com on your computer. Currently, logging in on your phone will not work.
2. Log into Blinkfire using the social media account you normally use: Twitter, Facebook, Google, Microsoft or TikTok. 
   

   

3. Upon logging in, click on your name in the top right corner and go to “Settings”.
   
   

   

4. Press the Douyin button (it looks just like the TikTok button, but don’t worry). 
   
   

   

   
   Note: Unless you are logged into another Douyin account on your phone, you do not need to log out. Please make sure you are logged in on your phone with the account you would like to connect.
   
   

5. Press the “All clear.  Add account” button.
   
   
6. You will be presented with the Douyin login page. You will have approximately 30 seconds to complete the next steps. If the page above times out, the QR code will have a “recycle” symbol on it. Press that if it happens.
   
   
7. Go to your phone with Douyin installed and log in. Open the app. Navigate to the profile page, and click where you see the red arrows below.
   
   

   

8. Click to show your QR code.
   
   

   

9. Find your “My QRcode” and reverse it to take a picture of the screen. Position the light box over the QR code on your screen.
   
   

   

10. You should then be able to connect to Blinkfire. Press the red button, and the browser on your computer screen should return to Blinkfire.
