Pricing Insights
Blinkfire's inventory management tool comes with powerful analytics data to help inform your inventory pricing decisions. Use actualized sell through rates, average sale prices and media performance on a per asset basis to help inform your partnership inventory pricing and rate card strategy year over year.
Pricing Insights Report
Each Inventory List will have its own Pricing Insights report. By default all assets included in an Inventory List are displayed, however there are options to filter for assets that have sufficient data to calculate pricing insights and even specific target assets by using the "Filters" selection.
The key components of the report are listed and detailed below.
- Pricing Insights
- Calculates the average sales price of the target asset across all Proposals the asset was included in. There are three main components of this section
- List Price: This card compares the avg. sales price of the target asset to its listed price by showing the actual average sales price and also the percentage difference between the listed price and the average sales price. There are three statuses "Poor" "Good" and "Excellent". Based on how the average sales price performs compared to the listed price one of these three labels is assigned.
- Sell-through rate: This shows a percentage value for how many of the available units were actually sold compared to how many units of that asset exist in the inventory.
- Price x Sell-through: This is a combination metric to show how the asset is selling through and at what price. It gives insight into the sales velocity and strength of each target asset.
- Calculates the average sales price of the target asset across all Proposals the asset was included in. There are three main components of this section
- Performance Insights
- Are based on analytics measured for all Goals connected to the target asset in all associated Deals. Goals are a way to connect media performance tracked throughout Blinkfire directly back to a target inventory asset. All Goals attached to the target inventory asset are aggregated and transformed into easily digestible insights in this section to surface how media exposure KPIs such as value, engagements and impressions performed on the connected asset.
- Media value: This card shows the media valuation driven by the target asset adjusted for any ROI values set on the asset in the Inventory List.
- Engagement: This KPI shows the percentage of engagements driven by the target asset above or below the target value in all attached Goals.
- Impressions: This KPI shows the percentage of impressions driven by the target asset above or below the target value in all attached Goals.
- Are based on analytics measured for all Goals connected to the target asset in all associated Deals. Goals are a way to connect media performance tracked throughout Blinkfire directly back to a target inventory asset. All Goals attached to the target inventory asset are aggregated and transformed into easily digestible insights in this section to surface how media exposure KPIs such as value, engagements and impressions performed on the connected asset.
- Pricing Recommendation
- For all partnership assets that are included in a sufficient amount of Proposals & Deals throughout BIM a pricing recommendation is generated. This pricing recommendation is based on combing the insights listed in the Pricing Insights & Performance Insights sections.
- NOTE: Ensuring all assets are put through the proper stages of Proposal and Deals with accurate pricing information and sufficent connected Goals is imperative to having this insights report generate valuable and accurate information for your inventory pricing analysis. All pricing recommendations are based on data input into Blinkfire's Inventory Management product and should serve as an analytical attempt to quantify value based on available data, please consult with your Blinkfire customer support representative if you are considering repricing inventory assets based on recommendations displayed in the report.
Inventory Lists
Inventory lists now have a direct link that can access the corresponding pricing insights report as well as display consolidated information such as a recommended list price and sell-through rate directly inline for each asset.
The visibility of these details can be toggled by clicking the "Hide insights" button displayed next to the Pricing report hyperlink.
