We do not take logo size or quality into consideration when valuing exposure in an image. Brand exposure is binary -- either the brand is present or it's not. Images are qualitative to brand lift studies to answer the question: Would the human eye recognize this brand or not?
Do you take logo size into account on videos posts?
Yes, videos are qualitative to mirror how advertising is presented in moving content - duration of video, size of logo, quality of logo all matter.
Why are some brands recognized and others are not in images and video?
Some brands in images are too blurry, too small, or cut off and not counted (see the example below).
Some brands in videos are present but are too blurry, too small, or displayed too quickly and not counted (see example below).
